ABOUT THE PROJECT The Outline of Nepal Project Purpose of a Program: To improve cataract surgical skills of Japanese doctors To boost the better interaction between Nepali doctors and Japanese doctors Starting Period: March 2025 onwards (As soon as itʼs ready) Duration: 1~3 months(negotiable) Location: Kedia Eye Hospital Requirements for Program: At least about 500 cases of cataract surgery experience or ophthalmologist who can manage simple cases by themselves Number of Participants: Maximum 2 simultaneously Participation Fee: Around $500 per month (slightly variable) What's included: residence fee, registration fee of Doctorʼs license, application fee for medical council Training: Performing cataract surgeries following supervisors in Kedia Eye Hospital Cases: The number of surgeries you perform will be determined by the Nepali supervisor based on the skill level of the participants.
